Records and songwriting contract with 4 Star Sales (BMI) in the fall of 1954.
NB(2): A recording contract was secured on 11th April 1955
for TEX HARPER which was a 3 year, 24-Side contract. He also signed a
songwriting contract with 4 Star Sales (BMI).
NB(3): TOMMY SCOTT financed both of the above recording
sessions. He had paid out $2,200:00 in
Respect of both sessions.
NB(4): TOMMY SCOTT received money from 4 Star Records in
royalties was basically non existent.
NB(5): Billboard dated 14th May 1955 stated that TOMMY SCOTT
had cut the above recordings with TEX HARPER on vocals.
NB(6): TOMMY SCOTT secured the release of himself and TEX
HARPER from 4 Star Records & 4 Star Sales (BMI) on the 13th November 1956.
